Neli Daybed

Matteo Agati continues his iteration of Neli, expanding the collection with a new piece that is neither a classic chaise longue nor a romantic love seat, distilling their essence into a more intimate form: the daybed. 

Where the namesake tables and consoles expressed the architectural strength of the double T, here the motif becomes horizontal. The iconic element is reinterpreted as a sculptural base that lifts the upholstered portion with graphic precision, defining a subtle threshold between structure and softness. The T is not simply a support, but a design element that frames and showcases comfort. 

Neli daybed unfolds as a line through space–a measured presence that combines structural rigor with material sensuality. The leather-clad base meets the wooden platform, reaffirming the dual-material motif that defines the collection’s identity.  

Whether it’s used for reading, as a soft island in the living room, or a flexible element within a study or bedroom, this daybed adapts naturally. This piece never imposes its identity but defines it clearly and without ostentation.
